A cubist kitchen - Lego styles

It seems that quite a few things will benefit from a Scandinavian touch. Munchausen, a duo formed by Parisian designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti, took a bold approach with their own kitchen by venturing to IKEA for the basic kitchen island and then spending the next week covering it with more than 20,000 pieces by another Scandinavian brand, Lego

Looking forward to seeing the next part of the project, a Lego bath

Gorker Gallery

Situated on the corner of Gore and Kerr streets fitzroy awakes the sleeping giant that is Gorker Gallery. An unassuming yellow brick warehouse complete with rollerdoor from the outside and a lofty contemporary exhibition space with wet polished concrete floors, white walls, track lighting and exposed industrial features on the inside. It’s a little touch of new york in the heart of melbourne’s art district. Check it out!

Desktopography

At their best, desktop wallpapers bring animation to often lifeless computer screens, reflecting the personality of the user and acting as a calling card for creative talent. The desktopography project arrived in 2005 as a place to download nature / topological themed wallpapers with edits from selected designers. Get some here - now!

Laser Portraits

You begged your mum to pay the extra $4. A tribute to the greatest school photo backdrop there ever was.

How would it be, if a house was dreaming?

The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture - the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers "Galerie der Gegenwart". Resultant permeabilty of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves - describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself.
